Need PLN USD 32 Trillion Fund

Sibolga: In a working visit to Sibolga, North Sumatra, recently, the House Energy Commission and State Electricity Company to conduct a survey of the electricity supply before the imposition of an electric base rate increase later in July. The results of the survey asked the government to mention the people wisely so as not to burden people's lives and ask for electricity supply remains safe.

To fix the national electricity system in 2010, PLN still needs Rp 32 trillion. With the additional margin of five percent to eight percent, PLN is expected to be able to finance power projects, transmission and distribution throughout Indonesia. With this step the public can enjoy without being affected by electricity blackouts.
